Soft Skills International

Challenges & Objectives

/ Project Overview

Soft Skills International is a capacity-building and training consultancy with over 40 years of senior consulting experience across international development, public sector reform, and corporate environments.
PicklesBucket delivered a full brand-aligned web presence built to position the consultancy as a credible institutional platform for a global professional audience.

/ Challenges

The core complexity of this project was scale and structure. Translating 40 years of expertise into a navigable digital architecture required both strategic content decisions and significant technical build. The training catalogue alone demanded 180 individually structured and SEO-optimised modules, imported via CSV, presented through a custom card system with inline expansion, dedicated single-module pages, AJAX-powered search, and category filtering, built entirely from scratch. Alongside the catalogue, the content architecture required deliberate strategic input: the Learning Fields categorisation system, the dedicated Recognition page, and the FAQ structure on the Work With Us page were all decisions that shaped how the site earns authority with an institutional audience.

/ Approach

Every page was built around a single principle: institutional clarity. The homepage establishes the consultancy’s positioning within seconds. The About page structures four decades of experience as a coherent trajectory rather than a chronological list. The International Experience section frames geographic reach and sector depth as evidence of scale, not variety. The training catalogue gives both first-time visitors and returning users a clean, filterable, searchable experience across 180 modules. The entire site is fully responsive, with the catalogue’s search, filter, and expansion functionality preserved on mobile.

/ Outcome

On launch, the site achieved GTmetrix Grade A with 100% performance on desktop, Google PageSpeed 100 on desktop and 90+ on mobile, and an SEO & accessibility score of 100 across all devices.
